EDEN (2025)

Eden playfully explores the mythological narrative of Adam and Eve as the origin of a binary gender order.
The staging of bodies and symbolic artefacts creates a dialogue between historical narrative and contemporary deconstruction.
Categories of ‘male’ and ‘female’ are broken down, their constructed foundations exposed and negotiated in a new space of meaning. The photographs create associative levels in which the fluid spaces between gender and identity are negotiated and the biblical paradise, where the separation of the sexes began, is questioned.
