Julia Bertermann

I am a Vienna-based artist and photographer whose background spans both architecture and artistic photography. I studied Architecture at HTWK Leipzig and TU Wien, and Artistic Photography at the Friedl Kubelka School in Vienna. In my photographic practice, I explore narratives of gender, identity, and power structures through carefully staged images that draw on references from contemporary culture, art history, and everyday visual codes. Alongside my artistic work, I also work professionally in architectural and exhibition photography.
